These Terms govern your use of the NavShield app provided by NavShield LLC ("NavShield," "we," "us"). By using NavShield, you agree to these Terms.
Do not use or interact with NavShield in a way that distracts you while driving. Set your route before you start, use voice guidance, and pull over safely before making changes. Always obey traffic laws, posted signs, road conditions, and law enforcement. Road conditions and posted signs take priority over any directions or information in the app.
NavShield displays navigation, traffic, weather radar, forecasts, speed limits, and crime data from third-party and public sources. This information may be incomplete, delayed, or inaccurate. Arrival times are estimates. Speed limits may be missing or out of date. Crime data reflects publicly reported incidents and does not predict your safety or the safety of any area. You are responsible for your own decisions and safety. NavShield is not an emergency service. In an emergency, call 911.
You are responsible for your account and for keeping your password secure. You must provide accurate information and be at least 13 years old to create an account.
You choose which friends can see your location and can stop sharing at any time. Do not use NavShield to track, harass, stalk, or monitor anyone without their knowledge and consent. Do not share your account with others.
Some features require a paid subscription. Subscriptions are purchased through the Apple App Store or Google Play and renew automatically unless you cancel at least 24 hours before the end of the current period. You can manage or cancel your subscription in your Apple or Google account settings. Payments and refunds are handled by Apple or Google under their policies. Free trials, if offered, convert to a paid subscription unless cancelled before the trial ends.
You agree not to misuse NavShield, including by attempting to access other users' data, interfering with the service, reverse engineering the app, or using it for any unlawful purpose.
NavShield relies on services such as Google, Apple, the National Weather Service, and OpenStreetMap. Their content and availability are outside our control, and your use of them may be subject to their terms.
NavShield is provided "as is" and "as available," without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including accuracy, reliability, or fitness for a particular purpose, to the fullest extent permitted by law.
To the fullest extent permitted by law, NavShield LLC is not liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for any loss arising from your use of or reliance on the app, including traffic incidents, routing decisions, weather events, or reliance on crime data. Our total liability for any claim will not exceed the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the claim.
You may stop using NavShield and delete your account at any time. We may suspend or end access for anyone who violates these Terms.
We may update these Terms. If we make significant changes, we will notify you in the app or by email. Continued use after changes take effect means you accept them.
These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Michigan, without regard to conflict-of-law rules.
